Mixing Botox using saline with preservative is what most doctors use, most doctors use saline with preservative because it hurts less when injected and the reconstituted toxin mixture lasts longer
What is the difference with reconstituting toxins with normal saline and Bacteriostatic, well In terms of the toxin effect, there should be no difference. However, the Bacteriostatic sterile water has a different mineral concentration and level of acidity (pH) than saline. Saline is chosen because it generally more comfortable (i.e., won't cause a burning sensation when injected).
