Popular questions

How soon will I see results?

Results from skin injections, such as dermal fillers or Botox, can typically be seen immediately, with optimal effects developing within a few days. Individual responses may vary, with some patients experiencing swelling that initially obscures results. For the best outcome, follow your practitioner’s aftercare advice and schedule any necessary follow-up appointments. For long-lasting results, regular treatments may be recommended based on your specific skin needs.

How long do the results last?

The results of skin injections, such as dermal fillers and anti-wrinkle treatments, typically last between three to twelve months, depending on the specific product used, the treatment area, and individual factors such as skin type and lifestyle. For optimal results, regular maintenance treatments are recommended to uphold a youthful, rejuvenated appearance. Consult with a qualified practitioner to determine the best plan for your aesthetic goals.

Is Skin Injection suitable for everyone?

Skin injections, such as dermal fillers and Botox, are not suitable for everyone. Individuals with certain medical conditions, allergies, or pregnant and breastfeeding women should consult a qualified practitioner before treatment. A thorough consultation is essential to determine if skin injections align with your aesthetic goals and health status. Always choose a reputable clinic for expert advice tailored to your needs.

Are there any side effects?

Skin injections may cause temporary side effects, including redness, swelling, bruising, or mild discomfort at the injection site. Some individuals may experience headaches or allergic reactions. These effects are typically short-lived and resolve within a few days. It’s essential to discuss any concerns with a qualified aesthetic practitioner to ensure a safe and effective treatment experience. Always prioritise professional guidance for the best aesthetic results.

Can I combine Skin Injection with other treatments?

Yes, skin injections, such as dermal fillers or Botox, can often be safely combined with other treatments, including laser therapy or chemical peels, to enhance overall results. However, it's crucial to consult with a qualified aesthetic practitioner who can assess your skin type and discuss the best combination tailored to your needs. This ensures optimal safety and effectiveness for your skin rejuvenation goals.

What aftercare is required?

After skin injection treatments, such as dermal fillers or Botox, it’s essential to avoid strenuous exercise, alcohol, and excessive sun exposure for at least 24 hours. Apply a cold compress to minimise swelling, and don’t massage the treated area. Keep the skin clean and hydrated, using gentle skincare products. Follow your practitioner’s specific aftercare instructions for optimal results and to reduce the risk of complications.
