Popular questions

How soon will I see results?

Results from skin markers, commonly used in aesthetic treatments, typically become visible within a few days to a week post-application. However, optimal effects may take up to two weeks as the skin heals and settles. Individual responses can vary based on skin type and treatment area, so it's essential to follow your practitioner’s aftercare advice for best results.

How long do the results last?

The longevity of results from skin markers can vary based on individual skin type, lifestyle, and the specific treatment used. Typically, results may last from a few days to several weeks. Regular touch-ups and proper aftercare can help maintain the appearance. Consult your aesthetic practitioner for tailored advice on optimising your skin marker outcomes and ensuring long-lasting effects.

Is Skin marker suitable for everyone?

Skin markers are generally suitable for most individuals; however, those with sensitive skin or allergies to specific ingredients should exercise caution. Always consult with a qualified aesthetic professional before use, especially if you have underlying skin conditions. Proper application and removal techniques are essential to avoid irritation. For optimal results, choose skin markers designed specifically for cosmetic procedures in aesthetic clinics.

Are there any side effects?

Skin markers are generally safe for use in aesthetic procedures, with minimal side effects. However, some individuals may experience temporary skin irritation or allergic reactions at the application site. It’s essential to perform a patch test before use and consult with your practitioner if you have sensitive skin. Always choose high-quality products to minimise risks and ensure optimal outcomes in cosmetic treatments.

Can I combine Skin marker with other treatments?

Yes, Skin markers can be effectively combined with other aesthetic treatments, such as chemical peels or dermal fillers, to enhance overall results. However, it is essential to consult with a qualified practitioner to ensure safe and optimal outcomes tailored to your skin type and concerns. Combining treatments can improve skin texture and appearance when performed correctly by experienced professionals in an aesthetic clinic.

What aftercare is required?

After skin marker treatment, keep the area clean and dry. Avoid direct sunlight, harsh skincare products, and strenuous exercise for at least 48 hours. Moisturise with a gentle product to aid healing and prevent irritation. If any unusual symptoms arise, consult your practitioner promptly.
