Popular questions

How soon will I see results?

Results from a Shot Blocker can typically be felt immediately after treatment, with most patients experiencing reduced discomfort during injections. However, the full benefits may take a few days to manifest as swelling and redness subside. Individual response times may vary, so it's essential to consult with your practitioner for personalised expectations regarding your aesthetic results.

How long do the results last?

The results of using a shot blocker, typically employed during aesthetic procedures to minimise discomfort, can last for the duration of the treatment session. While it effectively reduces pain perception during injections, its effects do not extend beyond the immediate procedure. For optimal comfort in future treatments, discuss personalised pain management strategies with your practitioner.

Is Shot blocker suitable for everyone?

The Shot Blocker is generally suitable for most individuals seeking a less painful experience during injections. However, it may not be appropriate for everyone, particularly those with certain skin conditions or sensitivities. It's essential to consult with a qualified medical professional at your aesthetic clinic to determine if the Shot Blocker is right for you, ensuring safe and effective treatment tailored to your needs.

Are there any side effects?

While Shot Blocker is generally safe, potential side effects may include mild discomfort, temporary redness, or swelling at the application site. These reactions are typically short-lived. It’s important to consult with a qualified practitioner before use to ensure it’s suitable for your individual needs and to discuss any concerns regarding possible side effects related to aesthetic treatments.

Can I combine Shot blocker with other treatments?

Yes, Shot Blocker can be safely combined with other aesthetic treatments, such as dermal fillers or Botox. However, it is essential to consult with a qualified practitioner to ensure optimal results and address any potential interactions. Combining Shot Blocker with other procedures can enhance comfort during treatments, leading to a more pleasant experience. Always prioritise professional advice for your individual needs.

What aftercare is required?

After receiving a Shot Blocker treatment, it's essential to follow specific aftercare guidelines. Avoid strenuous activities and direct sun exposure for at least 24 hours. Keep the treated area clean and refrain from applying makeup for the first few hours. Stay hydrated and consider using a gentle moisturiser to support skin healing. If you experience excessive swelling or discomfort, contact your aesthetic practitioner for advice on managing post-treatment care.
