Priligy 60mg – Effective Treatment for Premature Ejaculation
Priligy 60mg contains Dapoxetine, a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) that is used to treat premature ejaculation (PE) in men. PE is a common sexual issue where ejaculation occurs sooner than desired, causing distress or dissatisfaction in sexual activity. Priligy works by increasing the levels of serotonin in the brain, which in turn helps to delay ejaculation and gives you more control during sexual intercourse.
How It Works:
Dapoxetine, the active ingredient in Priligy, works by inhibiting the reuptake of serotonin in the brain. Higher serotonin levels help to delay ejaculation by improving the brain's control over the ejaculatory reflex. Priligy is taken on-demand, approximately 1 to 3 hours before sexual activity, and it can significantly improve sexual performance by giving men better control over ejaculation.
How to Use:
Adults: Take one 60mg tablet 1 to 3 hours before planned sexual activity.
Dosage: If needed, your doctor may recommend reducing the dose to 30mg if you experience side effects at the higher dose.
Administration: Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water. Do not chew or crush the tablet.
Frequency: Do not take more than one tablet in a 24-hour period.
Priligy should not be taken daily, only when sexual activity is planned.
Key Ingredients:
Dapoxetine 60mg: The active ingredient that increases serotonin levels in the brain, helping to delay ejaculation.
Safety Information:
Side Effects: Common side effects may include headache, nausea, dizziness, or diarrhea. These side effects are generally mild and temporary. If you experience severe side effects, such as fainting, chest pain, or difficulty breathing, seek immediate medical attention.
Warnings:
Priligy should not be used by individuals with heart problems, including those with heart failure or a history of fainting. It is also not recommended for those with low blood pressure or severe liver issues.
Inform your doctor if you have a history of mental health conditions, such as depression or anxiety, as Priligy may exacerbate these conditions in some individuals.
Do not use Priligy with other medications for depression (SSRIs, SNRIs, or monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs)) due to the risk of serotonin syndrome, a potentially serious condition.
If you have kidney problems, your doctor may need to adjust the dose.
Alcohol: Limit alcohol consumption while using Priligy, as it can increase the risk of side effects like dizziness and fainting.
Do not use Priligy if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, as its safety during pregnancy and lactation has not been established.
Drug Interactions: Priligy may interact with certain medications, including antidepressants, antifungals, and some other medications used for treating high blood pressure or HIV. Always inform your doctor of all medications you are currently taking.
