What's involved?
Unit 1
This is the theoretical unit, covering the principles and practices of IQA. Our presentation with video links guides you through the criteria step by step, enabling you to answer the written assignment.
Unit 2
You are required to produce evidence from your IQA role in your workplace, which includes monitoring the activities of two assessors. Our electronic resources and templates will guide you through the process. You will also need to be observed by a qualified IQA, so will need to ask a colleague/associate to do this for you.
What you get out of it?
You will gain a nationally accredited qualification, which is an excellent addition to your CV. As a qualified IQA you will be in a position to sign off portfolios and practical activities for auditing and awarding body purposes.
It will demonstrate to current or future employers that you have the skills to monitor assessment decisions within an organisation, raising quality standards and standardising practice.
