Popular questions

How soon will I see results?

After receiving 50 units of Botox, most patients begin to notice results within 3 to 7 days. The full effects typically manifest after about two weeks, as the treatment works to relax targeted muscles and smooth fine lines. Individual responses may vary based on factors such as metabolism and skin condition. For optimal results and personalised care, consult with our qualified practitioners at our aesthetic clinic.

How long do the results last?

The results of Botox treatment, particularly with 50 units, typically last between three to six months. Factors such as individual metabolism, the area treated, and dosage can influence the duration. Regular treatments can help maintain your desired appearance over time. For optimal results and personalised guidance, consult with a qualified aesthetic practitioner.

Is Botox - 50 units suitable for everyone?

Botox - 50 units is not suitable for everyone. Ideal candidates are generally adults seeking to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. However, individuals with certain medical conditions, allergies to botulinum toxin, or pregnant or breastfeeding women should avoid Botox treatments. A thorough consultation with a qualified practitioner is essential to assess your suitability for Botox and ensure safe application tailored to your aesthetic goals.

Are there any side effects?

Botox is generally safe, but some potential side effects include temporary bruising, swelling, or redness at the injection site. Patients may also experience headaches or flu-like symptoms shortly after treatment. Rarely, drooping eyelids or asymmetry can occur. It's essential to consult a qualified practitioner to discuss your medical history and minimise risks associated with Botox injections. Always prioritise safety and choose a reputable aesthetic clinic for your treatment.

Can I combine Botox - 50 units with other treatments?

Yes, Botox - 50 units can be safely combined with other aesthetic treatments, such as dermal fillers or chemical peels, to enhance overall results. It's essential to consult with a qualified practitioner to determine the best combination for your individual needs and skin type. Combining treatments can provide comprehensive facial rejuvenation while ensuring optimal safety and effectiveness in achieving your aesthetic goals.

What aftercare is required?

After receiving 50 units of Botox, it’s essential to follow proper aftercare for optimal results. Avoid touching or massaging the treated areas for at least 24 hours. Refrain from strenuous exercise, alcohol, and excessive sun exposure for a few days. Stay upright for several hours post-treatment and report any unusual side effects to your practitioner. Following these guidelines helps ensure the effectiveness of your Botox treatment while minimising potential side effects.
