This course is something you won't find anywhere; we're offering you the whole package as this course teaches you everything you'll need to tattoo your clients face: ? Microblading, powder brow, hybrid brows, eyeliner, lips, lighting, removal and more! Entry Requirements: This course is designed for beginners, however, students are required to have a NVQ L3 or equivalent, including eyebrow shaping, skin treatments and some A&P knowledge. Students must be 18+. ? Equipment Needed: All materials will be provided for you. A Microblading kit is included in the price, containing a microblading tool, a range of pigments and a range of needles. But semi permanent machine is NOT included. ? Dress Code: Please wear black or professional attire. ? What Will the Course Cover? - Anatomy and Physiology - Health and Safety - Colour Theory - Bloodbourne Diseases - Microblading Procedure - Practical - Semi Permanent Makeup Procedure - Practical - Clean-Up and Aftercare - Troubleshooting - Correction What Do I Need to Know Before I Start the Course? Suitable for trainees of all levels. Students must be 18+. The course is made up of eight days training 1-2-1, then a separate assessment day. The assessment day starts with questions, problem solving, help and guidance in the morning, then performing a complete Microblading & Semi permanent makeup (eyebrows or eyeliner or lips) procedure on your model/s (unaided) in the afternoon. An ABT, Professional Beauty Direct and BIA Accredited Certificate can only be awarded on successful completion, and meeting all requirements and criteria of the assessment. Assessment days run every month so you can book on when you have completed your case studies. Students can provide their own models on practical days of the course, and one model on Assessment Day. Models must: be 18+, not pregnant or breast feeding, not have fillers around treatment area, have no cuts or abrasions in or close to any treatment area, not about to visit any hot climates or have a recent suntan and must complete a patch test prior to treatment. We recommend you bring your own lunch. Additional Information Licensing: Microblading & Semi Permanent Makeup is classified as a ‘medical’ treatment and needs to be carried out on a licensed premises. This special licence can be obtained from your local council, who will visit and inspect the premises/treatment area. There will be a fee for this licence and each district council has its own requirements and cost, so check with your local authority prior to booking this course. These treatments CANNOT be carried out on a mobile basis - only premises that hold a licence. Insurance: Not all insurance companies cover this procedure, so please check with your own insurance company first. Being classed as ‘medical’, there will be an extra premium to add on to existing insurance. This is an ABT, Professional Beauty Direct and BIA accredited course where insurance is given. As well this course has been approved by Insync Insurance. Case Studies: Certificates will not be issued until all 10 case studies have been completed and the assessment has been passed to the satisfaction of the assessor. Students must complete this within 3 months of taking the course. Equipment: The kit included in the course contains enough pigments, needles, a tool, a caliper, sticky rulers, pigment caps and a pencil to carry out at least 10 case studies. Additional items may need to be purchased in order to complete your case studies. Will I need to bring any materials? All materials will be provided for you on the day of the course. The price of the course includes a kit, which contains a Microblading tool, and range of pigments and a range of needles NOT Semi Permanent Machine. You will also receive an ABT, Professional Beauty Direct and BIA Accredited Diploma.
