Microblading to Machine

For qualified microbladers only, this course will teach you the skills required to produce hair strokes using the permanent makeup digital machine method. Entry Requirements: This course is designed for Microbladers only, knowledge of eyebrow shaping, skin treatments and some A&P is required. Students must be 18+. ? Equipment Needed: All materials will be provided for you. ? Dress Code: Please wear black or professional attire. ? What Will the Course Cover? - Anatomy and Physiology - Health and Safety - Colour Theory - Bloodbourne Diseases - Semi Permanent Makeup Procedure - Practical - Clean-Up and Aftercare - Troubleshooting - Correction What Do I Need to Know Before I Start the Course? Suitable for students holding Microblading certificate only. Students must be 18+. The course is made up of 3 days training 1-2-1, then a separate assessment day. The assessment day starts with questions, problem solving, help and guidance in the morning, then performing a complete Semi permanent makeup Eyebrow procedure on your model (unaided) in the afternoon. An ABT Accredited Certificate can only be awarded on successful completion, and meeting all requirements and criteria of the assessment. Assessment days run every month so you can book on when you have completed your case studies. Students can provide their own models on practical days of the course, and one model on Assessment Day. Models must: be 18+, not pregnant or breast feeding, not have fillers around treatment area, have no cuts or abrasions in or close to any treatment area, not about to visit any hot climates or have a recent suntan and must complete a patch test prior to treatment. We recommend you bring your own lunch. Additional Information Licensing: As qualified Microbladers you should already hold License for your promises, as Semi Permanent Makeup is classified a ‘medical’ treatment and needs to be carried out on a licensed premises. This special licence can be (should already be) obtained from your local council, who will visit and inspect the premises/treatment area. There will be a fee for this licence and each district council has its own requirements and cost, so check with your local authority prior to booking this course. These treatments CANNOT be carried out on a mobile basis - only premises that hold a licence. Insurance: Not all insurance companies cover this procedure, so please check with your own insurance company first. Being classed as ‘medical’, there will be an extra premium to add on to existing insurance. This is an ABT, Professional Beauty and BIA accredited course where insurance is given. As well this course has been approved by Insync Insurance. Case Studies: Certificates will not be issued until all 6 case studies have been completed and the assessment has been passed to the satisfaction of the assessor. Students must complete this within 3 months of taking the course. Equipment: For case studies not provided, we will discuss on attendance of the course. Will I need to bring any materials? All materials will be provided for you on the day of the course. You will also receive an ABT and BIA Accredited Diploma.
