Criteria :Medical Background:
A professional qualification in medicine, nursing, or a related healthcare field (e.g., MD, RN, NP, PA, etc.).
Alternatively, a qualification in aesthetics with substantial experience in administering injectable treatments.
Basic Knowledge of Anatomy and Physiology:
A thorough understanding of facial anatomy and physiology, particularly the structures and tissues of the lips and surrounding areas.
Experience with Aesthetic Treatments:
Prior experience in performing aesthetic procedures, such as dermal fillers or Botox injections, is essential.
Demonstrated competence in handling needles and performing injection techniques.
Certification in First Aid:
Valid First Aid certification to ensure the ability to manage potential emergencies during treatments.
Professional Registration:
Current registration with a relevant professional regulatory body (e.g., General Medical Council, Nursing and Midwifery Council, etc.) for medical professionals.
Insurance:
Professional indemnity insurance covering aesthetic treatments and procedures.
Commitment to Continuing Professional Development (CPD):
A commitment to maintaining and updating skills and knowledge in the field of aesthetics through ongoing education and training.
