Facials Price: £75 Summary: This facial course will teach you the core foundations of tranquilizing facials. The student will learn how this relaxing treatment helps to revitalize and refresh the client’s skin. Different techniques will be shown such as exfoliate, steam, extract and massage also with the use of skin products. Course duration: Online What will the course cover? Introduction Reception duty Consultation Ventilation Anatomy and physiology Contraindications Contractions Product and equipment knowledge Skin types and choosing the correct products Demonstration of facial techniques and massage Video demonstration Aftercare Accreditation: ABT Pre - entry requirements: Suitable for beginners Useful Information Once you have enrolled onto the course and paid the course fee, you will have access to the online course content. The theory must be completed as home study online. Student must watch the demonstration video. For the practical session students will need to show that they can confidently complete the techniques by sending a video case study of themselves carrying the treatment out on their model. If the student fails the practical session, they will be asked to complete another case study. Once the practical session is complete you will receive your accredited certificate by email. Additional charge applies for printed or laminated copies of certificates sent by post. As your course is accredited by ABT this will allow you to gain insurance, work self-employed in a salon, from home or mobile.
