Once enrolled onto our Body Dermal Filler course you will be issued with access to our online learning system where you will find the theory for your course.
This course takes dermal fillers, which are traditionally used in the face, and applies them to other areas of the body, more specifically the buttocks and ‘hip dips’. These procedures are becoming more and more popular in the world of aesthetics, and are the perfect addition to your portfolio of procedures in order to grow your client base. The highly trained team at ask aesthetics will teach you, in detail, every aspect of body fillers, including:
• Administering filler to the body
• Administering lidocaine
• Anatomy of the buttocks and hip dips
• Client consultation and assessment
• Health and safety
The use of hyaluronic acid fillers to add volume to the hips and buttocks is not only an effective procedure, but is also much less invasive than its surgical alternatives. The procedure involves administering lidocaine as an anaesthetic and then delivering the filler to the area of concern through a series of injections. The filler, which has a gel consistency, adds volume to the area of application. Once injected, the injection site is massaged to ensure there is an even spread of filler. This treatment can be combined with PDO threads where the area of concern also shows signs of sagging.
