Botox
Botulinum Toxin is an injectable used to relax muscles in a desired area which helps to reduce signs of ageing and create a more youthful and rejuvenated appearance.
Botox can also be used to treat areas of concern e.g gummy smile, excessive sweating and teeth grinding - its mode of action is dependent on the site of injection.
Areas available for treatment are
Upper face - forehead, frown, crows feet
Lower face - bunny lines (nose), barcode lines (upper lip), gummy smile, massater, pebbled chin
Other - neck, armpits (for treatment of hyper hydrosis or excessive sweating)
Fillers
Dermal fillers are injectable variations of hyaluronic acids which are naturally produced in the body. They can be used for a variety of outcomes to define, sculpt, volumise and enhance different areas of the face, for example in the lips, cheeks and chin.
Filler can also be used to create a more youthful appearance and reduce signs of ageing for example with the nasolabial and marionette folds.
Treatment duration and cost depend on the choice and quantity of areas being targeted/volume required to achieve the desired outcome.
