I recently had a dermaplaning facial with Illume Clinic, and I can honestly say it exceeded all expectations. I went in not entirely sure what to expect, but I’d heard that dermaplaning can help your skincare absorb more effectively — and that’s exactly what I experienced. As someone who already invests in a good skincare routine, I noticed such a difference in how my products applied and absorbed afterwards. Holly Barton immediately put me at ease. She’s incredibly knowledgeable and made the whole experience feel relaxing and reassuring from start to finish. The clinic itself is absolutely beautiful — such a calm, welcoming space. After the treatment, my skin felt unbelievably smooth and looked noticeably brighter and more radiant. My makeup sits better, and my skin just has that healthy glow. I’ll definitely be making this a regular treatment — it might just be my new favourite thing! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Holly and Illume Clinic to anyone considering dermaplaning.
