Client Deposits Questions

You need to set up a payment gateway through Faces to start taking payments, Faces work with two gateways, these are Stripe and Ryft. You can set these up directly through your Faces dashboard under Profile settings.

If you send the deposit request through a consent form, there will be a section at the end of the form where they will enter their card details for the payment.
If you send them a direct link, they will receive an email with a link to enter their card details for the deposit.

In total, Faces will charge a fee of 1.5% per deposit received.

Faces no longer collects deposits; instead, they go directly to your Stripe account.

If a client disputes a payment after making a deposit for treatment, the clinic or practitioner must handle it. Any losses will come out of their future deposits or from their Stripe account.

Stripe, the company that processes our payments, charges a £15 fee for each dispute. If the clinic or practitioner loses the dispute, they have to pay this fee.
