Introduction:
The RHA Collection Filler offers a dynamic range of hyaluronic acid-based fillers designed to address facial wrinkles, lines, and volume loss. To ensure the best possible outcome from the treatment and to minimise potential side effects, it's crucial to adhere to the following post-procedure guidelines.
Immediate Aftercare (First 48 Hours):
Following the injection, it's normal to experience some redness, swelling, tenderness, or even minor bruising at the injection sites. Use a cold compress intermittently for 15-minute intervals to alleviate these symptoms. Avoid touching, massaging, or applying pressure to the treated areas, as this can cause filler displacement. It's recommended to avoid strenuous physical activities, alcohol consumption, prolonged sun or heat exposure, and wearing makeup for the first 24 hours after the treatment. If any discomfort is felt, over-the-counter pain relief can be taken as directed, but avoid anti-inflammatory drugs like aspirin or ibuprofen, as they can increase the risk of bruising.
Continued Care & Monitoring:
For the next two weeks, maintain good skincare practices by cleansing and moisturising with gentle products. Continue to protect the treated areas from excessive sun and UV exposure by using a broad-spectrum sunscreen with an SPF of at least 30. Avoid receiving any other facial treatments or laser procedures during this period unless approved by your practitioner. Any prolonged symptoms such as lumps, extended redness, or unusual reactions should be reported to your treatment provider immediately. Schedule and attend all recommended follow-up sessions or assessments to track treatment outcomes.
