This convenient device is perfect for aesthetics practitioners carrying out laser therapy work, plasma treatments, fibroblast procedures, semi-permanent makeup, and more. Gone are the days of manually determining skin types with a pen and paper on a Fitzpatrick scale! With this device, use it three times in the tested area to double-check and ensure accurate results. Advantages: Smart skin tone sensor that analyses within two seconds. The sensor will automatically switch off if the client's skin type is above IV. Note: Skin tones of VI and beyond are unsuitable for IPL, Plasma, and Fibroblast treatments. Skin Types - Results on the Sensor: Type I: Always burns, never tans (palest; freckles). Type II: Usually burns, tans minimally. Type III: Sometimes mild burn, tans uniformly. Type IV: Burns minimally, always tans well (moderate brown). Type V: Very rarely burns, tans very easily (dark brown). Type VI: Never burns (deeply pigmented dark brown to darkest brown). Product Instructions: The pen comes with a pre-installed battery, so there is no need to open the device - it's ready to go! Before and after each use, sterilise the device using a non-alcoholic wipe or sterilising solution, and gently clean the test window. Let the test window touch the treated areas flatly, then press the turn on/off button. The client's skin tone will automatically be detected, and a light will appear on the device.
