My name is Nathalie and I am your semi permanent makeup artist. I am married and a mum of a little girl. I am Swiss born but I lived and worked in Spain for many years before meeting my husband and moving to the UK to live. In Spain I worked at the world renowned wellness clinic SHA in El Albir, Alicante. Here in the UK I worked within the airline industry until the recent changes to life in general gave me the drive and opportunity to retrain as a semi permanent makeup artist and follow down the beauty path. My prior experience at SHA inspired me, showing me first hand how our health and aesthetics improve our physical and mental wellbeing. When I set up Shine Beauty Cosmetics it was my intention that I would know that while I was providing excellent semi permanent makeup services for my clients, I was doing it in a safe, ethical and vegan friendly way. Therefore, we only use high-quality products for our semi permanent makeup as well as with our eyelash treatments. The colour pigments used in microblading are vegan, free from heavy metals and are not tested on animals. With a bio-inert coating on every colour pigment particle, no negative interaction between the pigment and the tissue can occur. Meaning, the pigment isn’t seen as a foreign body to be rejected by the skin’s cells, the healing period is reduced, the colour is stable and, most importantly, it is safe for my clients. There is nothing more rewarding than helping my clients gain the freedom to feel amazing and confident in their own skin while cutting down, sometimes even eliminating, the daily makeup routine.
